The Road Less Travelled? (Work makes you free*)

Have to admit, I’m not a fan of “social media.” Yes, I have Gab, CloutHub, MeWe, Telegram and Facebook accounts In an attempt to keep up-to-date about what’s going on in these unique times. Before it was closed down, I was also on Parler.

With the obvious exception, these companies are doing a good job.

It’s probably an age thing, but when I read that “Influencers” get hundreds of thousands of “likes” for a picture of their latest meal it becomes obvious how ludicrous it all is.

Conversely, posts from many of my friends and others make me think, especially those I would have normally disagreed with. And I love cat cartoons, accounts of uncommon courage and selflessness, and animal rescue videos.

Should I make a statement that I totally reject the Orwellian “Community Standards” that permit posts about paedophilia, child exploitation and missives from Third World dictators? War is peace, Freedom is slavery, Ignorance is strength.

The combination of shadow banning and lowering the status of my posts (at least they’re honest; they have been doing this for months) means my “echo chamber” comprises around six people out of 521 friends.

In February, Trump will launch “Truth Social” which I will join straightaway. A larger echo chamber? Certainly. However, I won’t miss friend requests from Asian women with large breasts on display calling themselves Gail.

At least one person on Facebook, whose opinion I greatly value, encouraged me to stay when I contemplated leaving a few months ago. That same person has been conspicuous by her absence. I respect her reasons for doing so.

I like to think I walk my talk. I refuse to hide behind spirituality and “kindness” when “they” are coming for us armed to the teeth. I will not hide behind “playing it safe” as long as unspeakable evil drives the Demons behind the New World Order.

I will miss many, many people. Especially those who I can’t readily meet in person because they live in God’s own country, Greece.

However, we all have choices, don’t we? I don’t need the Dopamine fix and I don’t need the internal conflict of operating on a platform based on lies which serves the NWO agenda.

In closing, I’m mindful of three people who are close to my heart. They don’t go near Facebook.

In the same way that mask wearers and “fully vaccinated” people queue up to watch the latest Matrix film, I’m smiling now. If you don’t get the irony, I can’t help you.

Where We Go One, We Go All.

I think I’ve got a couple of days before my account restrictions are lifted. What a great way to start 2022!

Final comment. When you make a decision about something you are not 100% sure of, how does it feel? Well, leaving F***Book feels absolutely fabulous!

* Couldn’t resist this. My “hate speech” on 1/12/21 was the comment “Arbeit Macht Frei”, the sign above the gate of Auschwitz. FB have removed the post, so I can’t give you the context. Ah well…
