You cannot move through the world today without being influenced by the media. Unless you live in a cave without electricity, without any interaction with the outside world, without books, food, air and water. Sorry folks, the hermit myth is history.
For the majority of people in the West who worship technology their worldview is being so taken over by algorithms.
This morning I read a piece about Google’s search engine manipulation having the potential to swing up to 80% of undecided voters in an election. I already knew (as do hundreds of thousands) that much of government policy is field tested through electronic means (algorithms) prior to being inflicted on the public. The wonderful myths that are perpetrated are that advertising only helps you choose between alternatives and newspapers and the media merely reflect what people think and believe. And I live in a house made of sugar cubes and my name is Justin Timberlake. telligence will be a walk in the park. If you watch an old programmefeaturing Derren Brown you will see how thought patterns can easily be influenced. Marketing experts were set a task by Brown and he placed posters and images on the route the taxi took from the airport. Guess what? What they came up with had been massively subliminally influenced. They had no conscious memory of Brown’s tactics.
But there’s more.
Almost all of what we think (90% plus) at a conscious level is informed by our subconscious. Our subconscious is informed by the memories stored in our cells. And unless you’ve read my previous blog posts you have at least 100 trillion cells. And just to help you here subliminal, non-subliminal and any kind of considered advertising appeals to your subconscious.
However here is the good news. The medical model which pervades is that we are ill or sick simply because no drug or surgery has been found to cure it. I will leave reflecting on the monumental insanity of this situation to those who “get it”. No matter what intervention, through drugs or surgery, without the doctor within (our body’s ability to regenerate and repair) we would die. So we have an in-built drive to health and wholeness.
Becoming dis-eased is the doctor within’s way of telling us we need to pay attention. If we have pain, it has a cause. Taking painkillers and ignoring the cause is a recipe for catastrophe. I also read this morning that antidepressants(this article was in the British Medical Journal) have over time been found to correlate with dementia.
Have you ever tried to “calm your mind?” Have you ever tried to “let go and let God?” I have but only recently have I realised (been able) it opens the door to psychic and mediumistic phenomenon. And in my worldview this suggests that benign spiritual forces have an even greater effect than the cretinous advertising and marketing industries. And yes there are malign spiritual forces which we need to be aware of.
Unfortunately there isn’t even space here to talk about 5G, the messianic Regina Dugan formerly of Darpa now warping our minds at Google/Facebook, and food additives, prescription drugs and a whole skip load of things we should never consume or go near.
As will ever be it is all about awareness, arising from the slumber of the influences which are all around us. Try limiting your use of the word “like”, speaking with “uplift”, “running on” (not found out what this means yet) and probably worst of all “vocal fry.”
But of course we always have to end on a positive and it is this.
The truth continues to get out despite our being told the truth is not the truth and we are all Russian “bots.” Tap into your inner divinity; raise the vibration of humanity, the planet and all of creation.
You know it makes sense and it can be good even when it doesn’t.

“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organised habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country. …We are governed, our minds are moulded, our tastes formed, our ideas suggested, largely by men we have never heard of. This is a logical result of the way in which our democratic society is organised. Vast numbers of human beings must cooperate in this manner if they are to live together as a smoothly functioning society. …In almost every act of our daily lives, whether in the sphere of politics or business, in our social conduct or our ethical thinking, we are dominated by the relatively small number of persons…who understand the mental processes and social patterns of the masses. It is they who pull the wires which control the public mind.”
Edward L. Bernays (1891 − 1995) was an Austrian-American pioneer in the field of public relations and propaganda, referred to in his obituary as “the father of public relations” His major work, Propaganda was published in 1928.
